House Governmental Affairs chairman Amy Carter has asked me to chair a subcommittee to attempt to resolve the differences between the groups desiring the proposed new cities of Tucker and LaVista Hills. Im hopeful we can help bring about an agreement so both of these proposals can move forward and the residents of these areas of DeKalb county can decide for themselves if they want to form these proposed cities. Ill be speaking with the other members of the committee to put together a plan of action which well announce soon.
