House Hunting Update: We visited the New House out in Toole today for the official inspection. Other than a few out-of-date appliances and such, everything looks great! We did more research on the area and have liked what weve heard about the schools and community and environment. But most importantly, the drive. Thats the only downside of choosing this house- right? Wrong! Since I moved to Utah 10yrs ago Ive been moving to bigger and bigger cities. Jumping from that to Toole, population 30,000 out past the Great Salt Lake is a huge relief! I never noticed how tense the environment of city life was. Never felt the difference until I was out in the middle of nowhere. Sure, its not Washington, not paradise. But gazing out on nothing but nature for a change? I JUST FELT HAPPY. so very happy. With a few special exceptions (you know who you are) I wont miss living by all this one little bit.
