House Music Diva - Melisa Morgan - soulful singer, house music, r&b, songwriter, she got her start in the music industry while singing with a church gospel choir called the Starlets of Corona, she cites Chaka Khan as a major influence. Her initial chart entry was as the lead singer of the dance group, Shades of Love, they had a single entry on Billboard magazines Hot Dance Club Play chart in 1982 Body to Body which was re-popularized in 94 by new remixes and reached #1 on the Hot Dance Club Play chart. Morgan worked as a backing singer with Chaka Khan, Whitney Houston, and Melba Moore, just to name a few. As a solo artist she topped the R&B chart with her cover version of Princes Do Me, Baby she had several solo hits on the U.S. dance chart as well. After a lengthy hiatus, in 2006, Morgan released her fifth solo album I Remember, most recently she can be heard on a German release by Cool Million, which features Melisa Morgan on lead vocals on the opening track Sweet Baby, this proves she is still vocally in top condition, now doing her thing as the C.E.O of Asilem Productions, Inc. she continues to write, perform and tour heating up clubs, radio and dancefloors for years to come - Big Ups Melisa
