House Music Diva - Su Su Bobien - was born blind, after praying along with 14 surgerys she was able to see, giving credit, the grace and mercy of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for allowing her to rise above everything that came with her disability. In 1986, Bobien performed before her first large crowd now this sista can sang :) at the Showtime at the Apollo. She took first place for amateur night and became a returning champion, all of her life she was always singing in choirs then doing back up singing for artist like Mary J Blige, Mariah Carey, even tapping into plays & theaters she truly only wanted to sing positive and uplifting music. & refused to record any other music until she was introduced to the world of house music by her ex-husband, Kenny Bobien! Once this happen the dance world was blessed with some great music especially gospel house music, I remember Ken Collier dropped Thank You the double pack (green vinyl) e.p. omg & then Melvin Hill dropped You dont know the import version some years later it was sick :) Continuing her journey in the house music world, still blazing the clubs & dance floors - Mad respect Su Su
