House No. 900, Bank vaali gallee One of the best parts of our trip to Punjab was having darshan of Bhai Sahib Jeevan Singh Ji. We were very fortunate to see Bhai Sahib two days before he left for Sachkhand. Despite his old age, it was very encouraging to see him so committed to naam and bani. Bhai Sahib had just finished eating when we went to see him during the evening. From past few years, he had not spoken to anyone, but I could feel him doing abhiyaas. We sat in his room quietly, just looking at his beautiful face, trying to absorb the naam energy that surrounded him. Within a few minutes, sodar chaunki (rehras sahib) started from Sri Darbar Sahib. Gurjeet Kaur was really fortunate to do seva of his joothay bartan. We couldnt spend too much time there, but it was very fulfilling to see him. Bhai sahib was one of the first Gursikhs to start parchar of Sikhi in the West. He started camps across North America and Europe, and helped establish various Sikh institutions across the World.
