House fire displaces one in Victorville VICTORVILLE — Authorities said one person was displaced Thursday morning after a fire in their home caused $100,000 in damage. San Bernardino County Fire Department firefighter Jeff Allen said firefighters arrived at a home in the 12000 block of Seneca Road around 6:15 a.m. He said fire officials found smoke and “heavy flames” coming from the home. Firefighters searched the home and found no one inside, the one occupant had self-evacuated. Three fire engines, one firetruck, a brush engine and a battalion chief arrived and had the fire under control by 6:40 a.m. Red Cross was called to the scene to assist the displaced homeowner.
