House is much cleaner after Mom and Dad spent the time ripping up carpet and the tenant cleared much of the furniture out. Still some leftover belongings that are wanted by the daughter of tenant Bruce who died last year. Having difficulty convincing Dad he should just pile what he thinks is hers in his car and drive it to her. I am selecting paint colours for the rooms of the top floor. I have actually spent some of my time removing the staples from the carpet under pad from the wood floor. Found a dull strong knife left behind by a tenant that worked like a charm.
