House of Reps Minority Leader Lists Grounds For Accepting Kwankwaso, New PDP Members Into APC “While I commend our national leaders for the ongoing drive to expand the tentacles of the party, I also urge them to ensure that they reach out to all stakeholders in the party especially those that played key role in the formation of the APC so that everyone is carried along. This is the sure and only way of ensuring harmony in the party in our collective struggle towards deepening of democracy in Nigeria,” he explained. The deputy chief whip recalled his consistent call against misrule, injustice and other anti democratic tendencies “of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP)”, noting that as a member of the APC merger committee, he is not unaware of such tremendous sacrifice by leaders in the country. The lawmaker, however, warned that “If others now have seen the light of what we are doing, they are welcome and we are happy about it but I must draw the attention of the APC leaders to know that what has brought PDP to its knees now is injustice, imposition and impunity which we all must resist and not allow such to happen in our party”. -Daily Trust
