Housing Placement - Phase 2 Ok, time for the next phase. I have the initial apartments of 8 placement done. The Google Excel sheet now has 3 tabs: # 1 - Undetermined – These are the 16 students who did not have a preference and everyone else who didn’t request for a grouping of 8. (A few groupings made a request but it was for 6 people and that didn’t count in Phase 1) # 2 - Apartments of 8 – These are the placements for the apartments of 8. There will be a total of 13 apartments with 8 person in it. SO far, we have 8 of the 13 filled. (But apartments 5, 6, 7, and 8 need one more person each. If that is your group, please find and have someone add themselves to that apartment or in the end I will randomly place somewhere there) # 3 - Apartment of 6 requests. You can now CUT and PASTE your name from the “undetermined” tab and place it here if you would like to request to be in an apartment of 6 persons. Please know the following guidelines: * There are 11 apartments for 6 person each . * If there are more than 11 requests, then it will be selected by lottery. * Your request will ONLY count if there are 6 total persons in your request. * Requests are due by 8am Monday morning (AZ Time) * You will not be able to make any changes after 8am Monday. To conclude: - You are free to move yourself or your group to any of the remaining 5 apartments that we need to fill out for 8 persons. - Please only CUT and PASTE your own name. Your name should only appear 1 time in the whole document. - IF you do not want to or are not sure about living in an apartment of 6 or 8, then leave your name on the “Undetermined” tab. If you leave your name on this tab, please ANSWER THE QUESTION ON COLUMN E. “Do you as an individual (#2-17) or as a group (#19-55) are ok with being housed in apartment of 8? Please write “YES or NO” to answer that questions for yourself or for your group. (Check with group first before answering) - The final placement will begin after 8am on Monday morning AZ time. I will close the document to all edits. I will finalize the apartment of 6 requests and placements. I will use the remaining information to create the apartments of 4 and/or fill-out the apartments of 6 and 8 based on preferences declared on the “undetermined” tab or by lottery.
