Houston, Texas is one of the largest cities in Texas having 4 million inhabitants not including the surrounding area. The city has several downtown sectors as the financial district and medical center have their own section of skyscrapers. Sprinkled around and through the city are some wonderful parks like Discovery Green. Developed by private interests, this park is smack dab in the middle of the theatre district area. It boasts green construction, walking paths, play areas and water features. Im not sure of the function, but there are two very colorful buildings there as well. The other day I loved the reflections of the sky and clouds in the surrounding skyscrapers.
