How Can we Understand The Bible Without Influence? When dealing - TopicsExpress

How Can we Understand The Bible Without Influence? When dealing with the Bible, it’s imperative to understand what the Bible actually is. The Bible is a profound book containing the origin, downfall, and the eventual rising of a nation of people. Though the other nations have their place in the gospel of Christ, the Bible was written and compiled for and by the Israelites through the Spirit of the Heavenly Father Ahayah. Adam, Shem, Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob were men who walked this earth like you and I. Out of Jacob came 12 sons which we know today as the 12 Tribes of Israel. The Most High gave the sons of Jacob laws, statutes and commandments through Moses, an Israelite from the tribe of Levi (Deut. 27:1; Deut. 28:1; Psa. 147:19-20). One of these commandments was the law of sacrifice (keep this in mind since this is very key). To make a long story short, the nation of Israel began to sin against the Most High and were therefore made to serve from one captivity to another (Deut. 32:15-21). Under the law, we could simply offer a sacrifice to atone for our sins: Lev. 5:15 If a soul commit a trespass, and sin through ignorance, in the holy things of the LORD; then he shall bring for his trespass unto the LORD a ram without blemish out of the flocks, with thy estimation by shekels of silver, after the shekel of the sanctuary, for a trespass offering: Our sins became so grievous that the Most High no longer accepted our sacrifices, since they did not change the mindset of an individual (Heb. 10:1-3; Isa. 66:3). Because of this, the Most High sent His only begotten son to redeem the nation of Israel: Gal 4:4 But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, Gal 4:5 To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons. How can someone now come and turn this history into a religion? It would be as if someone took the history of the Saudi Arabians and their forefathers, and turned it into a religion in which all people can become Saudis. That’s exactly what happened to the Bible. The historical records of a nation have become the basis of almost every major religion of this earth. Christianity, Islam, Roman Catholicism, Judaism, Mormonism, etc. all use the Bible or it’s personalities as a front for their religious doctrine. Yet, none of these religions give the truth as to who the book belongs to. We choose not to look at the Bible from a Christian, Islamic, or Jewish standpoint because the Bible never commanded us to do so. We instead examine in its context which is both a historical and prophetic standpoint.
