How Honourable are some members of our various legislative chambers.The recent reaction and outburst of EDO STATE APC CAUCUS in the House of Representatives leaves much to be desired;it goes to show the quality of our law makers.It is a demonstration of how dishonourable they are to have come out openly to defend the unfortunate and uncomplelimentary remarks of their governor during south south sitting of the National Dialogue in Benin.Even if past attempts at conference had failed in this country,REASONABLE people had expected the governor to wish and pray that this current effort does not fail like others and encourage his to support the confab to move the country forward rather than condemning the confab openly because he was expressing what those law makers described as his personal opinion.It is unfortunate that we have law makers like these in 21st century Nigeria; law makers that would play politics with genuine efforts aimed at uniting the country.While not holding brief for Col. Tony Nyiam,I want to use this medium to condemn the role of these honourable members.Their nobility is in indeed indoubt.It is my humble opinion that our elected and appointed representatives should try to be above board and avoid playing dirty politics with the unity of nigeria.What happened in Benin is a show of shame and it goes to show how dishonourable some of our politicians are.
