How I wish these young boys from remote Wakka circle were carrying books in their tender hands instead of the heavy boulders on their young shoulders. During every vacation, young students from Longding district come to me in Khonsa asking for work. If I dont have, I direct them to meet people who have some work for them. They really work hard to earn some amount to buy uniform, books, pen etc. I like their spirit but at the same time feel sorry for them. Some of them are really young. But sometimes I feel good to see them realize the harsh realities of life at a young age that will propel them to work harder in life........
