How NOT to DO a kettle bell snatch.. First look at my kinetic chain. Whats wrong? My feet are abducting(facing out) so if my feet are facing out wards and I am now practicing my snatches guess what? Im prone to muscle imbalances and hip flexor issues now or in the future. If my feet are facing out and I cant keep them straight that means I have over active and under active muscle. My gastrocnemius or calves are most likely tight and my hips as well. Flexibility and stretching is the answer to fix this issue before it gets worse. Notice when I turn to the side I round my back when I lower the kettle bell. I didnt do a very good job at doing it but you can still notice. Keeping that back flat and nice and straight is a must. Posture is key! Be sure to stretch your lats and strengthen your core for optimal movement and efficiency..
