Read details below: While the waiting for the announcement of the new Emir of Kano was on, the PDP paid a group of hoodlums N5,000.00 each to organise celebration of the appointment of the new Emir to be announced soon. They later released information on twitter using a fictitious identity as follows: @MalsanusilamidoSanusi Ado Bayero has been selected as the new Emir of Kano. Announcement to be made later. The National Publicity Secretary Olisa Metuh later sent an open congratularory message based on this wrong verdict and the rented hoodlums took to the streets celebrating this fake announcement. When the actual announcement came, of the real Emir of Kano, Malam Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, the hoodlums that were celebrating before then become infuriated thinking their victory has been rigged.
