How Republicans stole the House of Representatives in 2012 even though they got a million fewer votes. Gerrymandering. We need nonpartisan redistricting to right this wrong so that our votes are heard. Politicians, especially Republicans facing demographic and ideological changes in the electorate, use redistricting to cling to power.
