How SJ came to be...a year ago I was let go from my job as a receptionist at a hearing clinic, there was no warning, no reason, it was just what I now know was divine intervention! I was in school studying to be a hearing aid practitioner to advance in the company. Was it my passion? nope. Was just doing it because it was secure and more money. I didnt even know I was miserable...but I knew in my heart that there was so much more I was meant to do. It was lab week at school, on a Friday, I got called in and my box was packed, my job was done, after almost 3 years. Clients loved me, some of the management did not. Its most likely because Im a curious woman who wants to know why instead of just saying yes maam. Some may call that insubordinate, I call it being curious and creative and being a leader on the inside!! It was 2 months before Christmas, Im a single mom and wow the panic set in!! Sometime in November of last year I went to bed and I prayed, I didnt beg or negotiate. I stated that I was ready to listen, follow my heart and receive whatever information I was supposed to! The very NEXT morning I woke up and I kid you not it was if my brain had DOWNLOADED information overnight. I woke up with a business plan, a name, recipes, ideas, motivation, and a new lease on life! My beautiful, supportive mom brought me out to buy my mixer, believed in me, and set me on my path!! I love you mom! That was the day Saltwater Joys was born! It took a while, and I started small and slow! Now its becoming so much more!! I LOVE that people love what I make with my mixer bought with love! I am proud that I had the courage to go after what I wanted, and the sense to listen to my soul. Im so grateful for the supportive family, friends and partner that I have!! People who encourage me and tell me to never give up! Who listen to my dreams and plans and tell me I can do it!! I am BLESSED beyond belief!! I want Saltwater Joys products to be HUGE! Why? Because its good for you!! It will help your skin! My hope for this page is to inspire people everyday! Not only are these products made with love, they are blessed! I bless them and put all of my loving, positive energy into them! When you put that on your body you are absorbing all of that without even knowing it!!
