How Thirsty Are You? John 7:37 Jesus stood and cried, saying, “If any man thirst, let him come unto Me and drink.” How long will you dream of having your hunger satisfied, and when you awake, your soul is disquieted? When will you become weary of being as a thirsty dreamer who finds water. But alas! When you awake and are faint, and your soul’s appetite isn’t fed, distress sets in. Is unconfessed sin responsible for your parched soul and spirit? Are your feelings or conscience affected from a thirst for the Word of Truth? If so, Christ invites you to meet Him at the well of life – the Bible. His Word is spirit and life, and it gives hope. It will transform your behavior and countenance right away. The water of Life births salvation and gives health only when it’s consumed. It is a gift from God and when it’s lovingly activated, it becomes a spring of everlasting life. Be like the hart and pant after the water of life in God’s scriptures. Pour out your soul as you study and drink of your Refuge and Strength.
