How To Contour With Liquid Products x The one technique that people struggle with is contouring, so i thought i would do a basic step by step method to achieve a flawless contour so lets get started :) Things needed - Beauty blender or Brush Setting powder Liquid products When contouring with liquids i dont use contour cream palettes, i use either concealers or foundation sticks. I find using these products blend easier and give better results and are far cheaper. When using these products go one shade lighter as your highlight colour and one to two shades darker for your contour colour x 1) Start by applying your foundation as normal, once you have applied your foundation take one layer of tissue paper and blot your face. Doing this will remove any oil from your skin and any oils from the foundation, doing this will help the contour products go on more smoothly. Let you foundation settle for a few minutes before moving onto the next step x 2. Now take you highlight product and apply it to the places shown on the photo, dont blend yet x 3. Next apply the contour product to the places shown on the photo, again dont blend yet x 4. Taking your damp beauty blender bounce it over the places you have applied your highlight and contour products. Dont use a rubbing or swiping motion as this will muddy the colours, just keep bouncing the beauty blender until the products are blended. If u find your cheek contour is still a little harsh using a brush go back and forth where the line is, slightly moving upwards. Never blend a cheek contour downwards as this will make your face appear large, always blend upwards x 5. Once your happy that the products are blended enough, then taking a setting powder and set your make up as you normally would x 6.
