How To Heal From A Painful Past An Unloving spirit shows us flash cards: words from the past that have hurt us and memories from the past that tie us to a certain way of thinking. It does this to reinforce the past so we forget who we are in Christ today. 2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. The mind of Christ says we are a new creature, a new creation. We are loved by God. We are not rejected, we are accepted. We are going to have to take that position, stand on it and let God be true because He said that about us. Romans 3:4 God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar, as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou are judged. Let every man be a liar who disagrees with the Word of God. When other people have Unloving spirits they say things that trash us and reject us, but we have to understand they do not know who we are in Christ and they, themselves are separated from God because of the Unloving Spirit. It is Gods nature to love. When the enemy comes to send us flash cards from our past, we must stand strong in who we are in God. Lets take time and develop a relationship with our Father and He will help us overcome.
