How UC Berkeley is celebrating the Free Speech Movements 50th anniversary. Massive police crackdown on #blacklivesmatter protests, with helicoptors, clubs, tear gas so intense I saw someone report it was INSIDE her house, and lots and lots and lots of Darth Vader cops. Of course my alma mater is the only university I know of to try to break the ribs of a national poet laureate because he was at a peaceful demonstration. Trying to defend his poet wife, whod been knocked down.
