How You Can Save Energy There are many forms of non-renewable energy which we have been using for centuries to create electricity such as oil and petroleum products, coal and Uranium just to name a few. Now #renewable #energy refers to energy generated from natural resources without harming the environment and has become very important in order to clean our planet and prevent the production of carbon dioxide, a greenhouse gas that is mostly responsible for climate change and global warming problem. Some #Alternative #energy #sources include solar energy which comes from the sun, wind energy,Geothermal energy from heat inside the Earth, Biomass which comes from plants these includes firewood from trees, ethanol from corn, and bio-diesel from vegetable oil and finally Hydro-power from hydro-turbines at a dam. All of these are forms of green energy which can be turned into electricity and heat for a cleaner environment. Green living is not just a way to change the direction of our environment but can also save us hundreds of dollars every year. Making changes to our daily routines and what type of products we use, how we recycle, reuse furniture and other things in the home or business, manage and dispose of Hazardous chemicals and finally have become more aware of what they eat. Living green created new business opportunities for local produce growers since more people are buying fresh organic products which are grown and sold locally to prevent the excessive use of transportation therefore producing less emissions from trucks bring products from other places. Conserving water is also an important part of what you can do for living green. Fixing a leaky faucet or toilet , changing how you water your plants, how long you are in the shower and turning off the faucet while you brush your teeth are more ways you can conserve water and be on your way to #living #green.
