How a night shift nurses mind works..I worked all weekend. .Ran some errands this am when I left the hospital..Grabbed some breakfast and a shower..Was asleep by 11 am..Had a bad dream..Woke up freaked out..My phone was dead...Couldnt find a charger..Had no idea what time it was..Clock on stove was blinking..slept in my contacts. ..One was dry and half way rolled up in my eye..Screamed the names of my family..No answer..My dog. .Zoey is looking at me..at least it looks like her..or a giant massive cotton ball is rolling around my den...My dream was like the Purge movie. .except Ive never watched it..just the trailer. I was running from something. .And the weather was tornado like...I was running and crying into my phone...remember this is my dream .so now Im here. ..awake....no family. ..no clue what day or time it is...So I grab my dog..In my pjs...With one eye working...remember I have Chris s truck..I grab the keys...get the phone charged In the truck...call Chris...He answers. .Me..What in the world? Where r yall? Whats going on? Chris...Alex and I are at the mall. .She needed a shirt for a party tomorrow. ..Me..Oh ok.. Chris..Are u hungry? We are picking something up..Me..no Im good...I thought I was running from the Purge..With one eye..I have no clue what day it is. .But I am in your truck. ...driving around the neighborhood. ..in my pjs...With the dog in my lap..Second thought. ..Grab me me a Sweet tea...Oh...and I see its 8pm..its a Monday right? Chris...dead silence...Yes...its Monday...
