How about a little prelude. The final unedited chapter: Chapter 16 The Journey Home Sebastian once again was left floating in a sea of darkness and silence. His brain was hurting. So he let his mind free to flow into the stillness of his surroundings. There was a slow distant vibration starting to softly hum. Sebastian opened his eyes. Sparkling lights were forming a vast distance away on the surface of the great sphere he was in. The humming increased and the number of bright sparkling lights increased too. More and more lights flashed into existence as they moved faster and faster around the outer realms of the sphere. They started forming great rivers. Sebastian was feeling the pull of gravity move him from the center of this great sphere. In a flash, a river of light burst into the inner realms of the sphere. A funnel formed, like a lightening hurricane, and it changed the humming into a great roaring. Everything began to move and lights popped into existence everywhere vanquishing every last bit of darkness. It all was raging in perfect harmony. The hurricane of light grew and grew towards the center of the sphere. As it grew, Sebastian was pulled harder and faster towards the bottom tip of the great light hurricane. ‘Soon the light will rip me to pieces’, he thought. “NO, it will not!” he said with strength mixed with excited anticipation. “I will ride this beautiful creation of light all the way home.” Whooosh! In an instant Sebastian was swept away into the beautiful pattern of light that flowed like a twisted snake through the sphere. The entire sphere was roiling. Smaller patterns of light began to form and swirl all around this tremendous hurricane that was raging like a river through the sphere. Sebastian held on for his life. He closed his eyes, centered himself, and focused his thoughts. He merged his mind into the flow of light around him. Then he opened his eyes, set his intent on home and the entire hurricane of light swayed and buckled under his will. In a great powerful motion the hurricane tunnel completely changed its direction. He could now see through the light tunnel to the outside of the sphere. Sebastian moved with the speed of a photon and his face rippled from gravity pulling on him. His spirit soared and he flew with the might of ten dragons. “I will miss this magical world: The World of Quantum!”
