How about some updates on some our rescues we posted about earlier? Ive had people asking about some of our hounds that were well publicized. Send us an update! Remember Fran, the hound that Suncoast rescued? She was one of our $5 Friday hounds . . . heres an update on her from Linda Lartigue, her foster mom: Miss Frannie is hangin in there. She continues to have labored breathing, but she has an incredible spirit! The girl could eat 24/7 and she still attempts the occasional counter cruise when she feels that 4 meals a day just arent enough! :0) There have been days when she goes off her food and I think this is it, but she then she rallies and things go back to normal for her. She is getting a little more affectionate, but still cowers if you move too quickly towards her head. When I am home, she has to have me in her sight. If she goes outside and cannot find me immediately, she will run through the house looking for me and every time she does, I worry that she is going to give herself a heart attack. Shes still on everything she can be on to make her breathing as easy as possible, but I know that one day I will come home to find her gone. As sad as that day will be, at least she will go as a happy, well fed and well loved little lady. Thanks again to all of you who keep good thoughts for her.
