Try saying, I am experiencing back pain. Which gives you more control over it in your mind. Subtle difference? YES. So is the difference between I can or I cant! Each one carries a different outcome. Ever notice that when you try to “get rid of something,” it just sticks to you like velcro? Trying to get rid of back pain makes it harder to do that very thing. How you think and MOVE determines your own ability to learn new movement patterns. You always have the power to change the quality of your experience. So the first lesson in the pain game is monitor your thoughts! Thoughts become THINGS!! SO make them good ones.
