How anyone can justify the continuity of this government amazes me. If this were a sane country, GEJ would not stay one day after May 29 in Aso Rock. Buhari failed in maths. We hear. That doesnt stop him from being president. I got a low credit in maths. A pass I think. Just barely. I remember when I was drafted into a science class in SS1, I literally broke out in hives when I thought Id have to study Further Mathematics. I dodged the subject. And the maths teacher, Mrs Bajomo did not help matters. I havent seen a more boring teacher my whole life. No wonder I didnt ace the thing. Buhari failed maths but Jonathan has failed at the most important job hed ever have. If you dont know, one of GEJs job is to keep ALL Nigerians safe. ALL! Not some. Not a few. Not a region. Not some states. ALL. Every single one of the 170 million and counting people he swore to protect. Keep us safe. We like trains but first keep us safe goddamnit. You havent given us steady electricity yet you wont still keep us safe. There are no jobs yet you wont still keep us safe. Nothing works yet you wont keep us safe. Perhaps if you had kept us safe we would have been happy that you gave us 1 (abi how many?) AC train. But you see, dead people dont ride on trains. Abducted children dont ride on trains. Men who have had their throat slit dont ride on trains. Women who were raped and then killed dont care about your trains. Go and ask the IDPs what they feel about your trains if you dare. Brandish your train as an achievement in front of them if you have the liver. People are dying and the best excuse your supporters can come up with is that it is politically motivated. Lets even say it is, since you delight so much in making excuses for your failure, what have you done about it? We are tired of your excuses, give us your solutions. When you took an oath of office, how many local government areas did Nigeria have? How many belong to us now and how many belong to BH? Yet, you think you havent failed. When you took an oath of office, the Chibok girls were home safe with their parents and the Buni-Yadi boys were alive. Yet, you think you havent failed. Towns have been run over and taken over. Yet, you think you havent failed. You treat terrorists with kid gloves and call them our brothers. Yet, you think you havent failed. YOU HAVE FAILED! You have failed. Woefully. In the affairs of governing Nigeria, you have a big massive F9 and that matters to us more than someones failure in Mathematics.
