How awesome is this? My friends son not only got to play the last game of the season against the team rivals, after keeping his team mates thirst quenched for the rest of the game and all the other ones of this season but he flawlessly scored a touchdown as well. Our teams coaches spoke with Bangors coaches and a plan was hatched! While on that field Gabe wasnt the young lad with autism who had a couple trips to the ER just a few days earlier. He was the man of the hour. What an awesome experience I bet he, his best cheerleader and twin sister Grace, as well as mommy will never ever forget this. Quite honestly- I bet the young players from both teams as well as the coaches will either. I will put a couple pictures of this in the comment section. All I know is, Im feeling real proud of the Slate Belt right about now! Feel free to share this- put a smile on other peoples faces and point out some positive local news.
