Romans 14:2 One persons faith allows them to eat anything, but another, whose faith is weak, eats only vegetables. Romans 15:1 We who are strong ought to bear with the failings of the weak and not to please ourselves. Romans 11:14 in the hope that I may somehow arouse my own people to envy and save some of them. Romans 15:2 Each of us should please our neighbors for their good, to build them up. 1 Corinthians 9:23 I do all this for the sake of the gospel, that I may share in its blessings. 1 Corinthians 10:33 even as I try to please everyone in every way. For I am not seeking my own good but the good of many, so that they may be saved. 2 Corinthians 11:29 Who is weak, and I do not feel weak? Who is led into sin, and I do not inwardly burn? Find supporting scriptures, because we know that God confirms His word. Consider who the writer is speaking to and what is going on in that area at the time. and read the chapters leading up to that verse and after. Paul is very contextual. you have to read his writings before and after to know the context of what he is saying. And all of the books of the bible are written to be read fully.
