How can I trust God? I have learned the hard way to trust God. Some days it’s not easy, but that isn’t God’s fault. I have the tendency to take my eyes off Jesus sometimes and put them on man.I have to remember that man is not my resource, the things I get do not come from man.Well in a way they do but it is because God laid it on their heart to bring me just what I need, when he thinks the time is right, not when I want it.We live in a world where we think we need it now and want it now my way, and that is not the way it goes. When God thinks we are able to handle what he gives us then he will see that we get what we need. Take money, sometimes when we get extra money we like to get things we want and not really need. God wants us to use what he gives us to help others and when we do he will send more to replace the money we used. It doesn’t have to be money it happens with food, material things, clothing just anything that we have to help others that don’t have what they need. Now to trust God you have to walk by faith not by sight. If I walked by sight I would worry myself do death. Sight doesn’t always let you see what God has in store for you. He will send a blessing when you least expect it.He sent me a blessing last week that I wasn’t expecting and it like to have bowled me away. I know that God loves me but that one caught me off guard. The devil is always there trying to make you doubt that you will get what you need, just hold on its coming you just don’t see it.God will never turn his back on you, he’s walking with you down this path holding your hand, even when you think “God where are you, it doesn’t feel like you are there”. We also have to learn not to go by feelings either. That’s when he is holding you in his arms telling you just trust me, its coming. I know the people around you what to know, where you get the faith to wait on God. It’s a hard lesson to learn, but well worth it in the end. No matter what, wait on God and he will provide a way to do what you really need in his timming.It has become my nature to just trust God. Yes sometimes I do doubt but then I have to remind myself, you are not doing this God is, so just wait and it will come. No matter what it is, just trust God and it will come when he thinks you are ready to handle it in a mature Christian way. You know how kids are, when they have a little money they want to go to the store and buy candy and really don’t need that. Well some of us Christians are like that, that’s how we handle money or anything else God gives us and it shouldn’t be that way. It takes a while to grow into living the way God wants us to live and sometimes it’s hard, but never gives up the fight you will get there. I still have a ways to go myself. You have to watch the way you talk; your words can get you into trouble also. When asked how are you tell the people, I’m well blessed and highly favored and deeply loved by God himself. Your words have life and what you speak is what you will get. The bible tells you in Proverbs 18 there is life and death in the power of the tongue. If you say I ‘am blessed you will be blessed if you say you are poor you will be poor. Just watch the words that you use and how you use them. I have to watch my own words; sometimes I use the wrong words and have to correct them. Always be positive, and don’t think this is a magic potion that you will get what you want when you want it.Its not its building your faith to trust God no matter what.
