How can PSL teams dominate African Football? By stopping to undermine African Competitions and African teams, period. If teams like Sundowns,Pirates and Chiefs are to dominate in Africa, the players must play their hearts out for team, when a player is chosen to represent the team in Africa, that player is like a soldier in war,he should fight with all that hes got. The club administrators must also put their weight behind the team no matter the circumstances,I mean it has happened with Pirates last season, they took all the ammunition they had and powered into the final of Champions the first time in 19 years, what does that tell you?It tells you Pirates didnt even have to think twice about benching regular players for the league or a mere cup final, what mattered the most at that time was Respect, that is getting the second star.Even though they lost in the finals, the expirience they had will go a long way.Every team in the PSL should fight like that. I fail to understand why Chiefs would field a second string team against African Giants,Asec Mimosa.Todays game shouldve seen ever best available player being selected for that match, the players, the teams, the officials, the fans, the supporters and every Tom,Dick and Harry should know how important it is to beat any African team in our own backyard. You should see how the Ivorians kissed the ground after beating Chief about an hour ago,you shouldve seen how they fought untill the last minute, they scored the winning goal late in referees optional time when everybody thought the game was as good as a draw, something very unfamiliar with local players. We,South African, tend to undermine anything from Africa,I remember when Nigerian Movies first came to our shores, they were immediately tabled as R10 movies, then priced to a low R5,because we undermined them, but today Nigeria has surpassed South Africa economically. Waekh,Chiefs munn.
