How can a city Council be so opposed to what residents of a city want? People have voted and we made it clear of what we want. How can a few elected members stop an entire city from having what they voted for? The obvious step is to start voting out these politicians that do not support what we want. Stop letting six or eight people control entire communities decisions. Put the power back in the communitys hands. We do not work for city Council. City Council works for us. If council cant agree with us stop claiming to represent us and let us have a council that represents our town. This is applicable anywhere on any community topic. Apply as necessary.
