How can a day start start so well and end in such a sad way? Myself and another volunteer were home checking today.We met some lovely people and found homes for Bubble,Hamish and Biscuit.We were on our way home after a good days work when we received a call. 2 kittens approx 2 weeks old in a ladies shed.She had been keeping an eye out for mum but she did not seem to be coming back. We were advised the kittens seemed to be deformed.When we went to pick them up the 2 kittens each had a foot missing. Ourselves and the people that saved the kittens thought the feet had been bitten off either by the mum or a rat. The vet seemed to think this was also probably the case. I am sad to say these beautiful babies did not make it.I shed many tears today.RIP babies.Run free at Rainbow Bridge.
