How can civil society leverage technology? U.S. Embassy officials spoke to three Myanmar participants from the recent TechCamp Indonesia to find out. Held January 21-23 in Jakarta, the U.S. Department of State sponsored TechCamp brought together 43 representatives from civil society organizations from ten countries in southeast Asia. They exchanged stories and benefited from the expertise of eight technology trainers from the region to learn how online learning, online presence, design thinking, mapping, blogging, and mobile apps can strengthen their organizations.
