How can nuking a plant be OK, but a GMO isnt? You have a right to know they say... BUT!! When you compare GE to Mutagenesis it renders the anti Gmo movement to be absolutely foolish and silly. Have organic mutant bred crops been tested? NO..... Are they labeled? No..... Is there risk? Yes. More risk then GE? YES!! Why not test and label these foods? What is Big Organic trying to hide? And why wont the anti GE forces acknowledge this glaring contradiction? Why wont supporters of the anti Gmo movement even acknowledge the question, let alone give an honest reply. Ive raised this Mutant breeding argument dozens of times and all Ive ever gotten was crickets chirping. You wont revise your fearful and anti scientific stance, fine. But at least be consistent about it; if you are opposed to all crops bred using GE, then it should follow that you would also be against other less safe breeding methods as well. You people are being lied to..... the very same folks paying for anti gmo propaganda and spreading misinformation are also selling you food that was bred using radiation. LOL! They set out and demonize the competition while the food they sell you is far more unsafe. It is entirely irrational to oppose GE while turning a blind eye to Mutagenesis/Mutant breeding. And its quite an issue of intellectual dishonesty to just ignore the contradiction as if it didnt exist.
