How can one deny the massive amount of influence Phil Lesh has had on improvisational psychedelic rock bass guitar. Have a huge appreciation for his style that Ive noticed a lot more recently as Ive been listening to a lot of Dead shows recently. I feel like the one thing I really like about the dead is the same reason why the disco biscuits are my favorite band, they play with a range of emotion from happy and joyous to doom and gloom, from schizophrenic to happy and healthy. Such emotional music.
