How can the Carphone Warehouse subsidiary Talktalk used a cold call to sell a mobile phone phone contract to a severely disabled 89 year old lady who suffers from Altzheimers, then continue to take a direct debit even though not a single call has ever been made on it, and refuse to refund the over 2 years worth of charges? They also refuse to discuss the situation with the person who has full Power of Attorney, even after the full documentation had been faxed to them! The phone was returned to their depot, along with an explanatory letter, which was then posted back to the lady, complete with a note to say that the contract was still in place!! This is not my idea of good business Please share this, because if it has happened once, it will continue to happen. Targeting the elderly and infirm is not on!!
