How can the oldest observable galaxy be 13.1 billion light years - TopicsExpress

How can the oldest observable galaxy be 13.1 billion light years away from Earth if the estimated age of the galaxy was 480 million years old when the light left to reach us? Assuming the light started leaving the galaxy when the universe was 480 million years old, and took 13.1 billion light years to reach the Hubble telescope, it means the galaxy was 13.1 billion light years away when the universe was only 480 million years old. Given the speed of light as a maximum speed, how did the Milky Way and this new Galaxy get so far apart in 480 Million Years if the big bang happened?
