Yesterday we posted the first video of our stop work action in Sydney last week, where over 800 Catholic school teachers and support staff took part in the rally. This video is our second instalment covering some of the highlights at the Sydney Masonic centre. IEU Executive member and St Brigids Primary school teacher James Jenkins-Flint called upon the need for all Catholic teachers and support staff to be respected, resonating well with the large audience in attendance. IEU General Secretary John Quessy was particularly rousing in his speech, saying that it was the CCERs blatant attempt to create Flexibility, when it was actually a five syllable F-word that strikes fear in the hearts of everybody.
