How can you be saved ? Ephesians 2:8 For by GRACE you have been saved through FAITH; and that not of yourselves, It is The Gift of God through Christ Jesus. Some thought that salvation was something they could achieve by themselves by good works. Remember, grace is Gods riches at Christ expense. Christ had paid the tremendous price for this gift. Today, many people who call themselves Christian thinkthey have taken the steps necessary to be saved. They quote James 4:8, which states, Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you. However, Jesus made it very clear that is was Him saving us,when He said, you did nit choose Me, but i choose you...(John 15:16). Although a person is required to BELIEVE to be saved.(Romans 10:10,13),that FAITH itself is a gift of God which saves an cannot be exercised by ones own will. If you could Choose God, then you could boast of your great insight and intellegence(v 9), but God said you cannot do it by yourself. How can you be saved? GRACE alone, by FAITH alone,In Christ Alone. That is His gift to us. Thank You Jesus, for dying for me and offering me the Free Gift of Salvation. Im not worthy; but i am grateful . May i boldly share it unto others The Free Gift of Salvation through Christ Jesus; Our Lord and Saviour,Amen.
