How can you expect us to continue in school when more than half of students my age cant afford it? Were graduating with so much student loan debt that its become a billion dollar industry. Then, six months after we graduate you expect us to start paying back the loans at around $300 a month on average. When in all honesty, most students graduating dont get into their career field straight out of college. Its a lose/lose for us and a win/win for the government. All this talk of loan forgiveness is never going to happen. Because why would they give up the one thing that were expected to do to become upstanding, intelligent citizens when it puts billions in their pockets. Im so over owing so much money that is is going to take me years to pay back. Ughhh.
