How can you love America if you hate most Americans? Something I just read was sending me off on this rant, but he already did it. Hopefully, Id have had fewer typos (but you never know), but I do wish the average people who are being manipulated by their fears would take just a moment to think about what the ultra conservative white right has actually done to benefit them because the answer is nothing. They have consistently eroded the living standard and safety of 99% of the people since Richard Nixon (remember the president who wasnt a crook?) took office. The roads and bridges arent safe to travel (even I pray - to Stephen King - in the Lincoln Tunnel), schools teach nothing of value in spite of struggling teachers, food is unsafe and the healthiest is out of many peoples price range, chemical assaults (from water, air, soil, food, almost every product in your house) cause developmental issues before and after birth, and corporations spew out a continuous, pathological litany of lies, disingenuous half truths and outright fantasies, while paying no taxes worth mentioning and moving the vast majority of their wage paying operations overseas. And still, the unemployed, underprivileged poor white Christian people vote for Republicans just because they are also white??? And pretend to be Christian? Ill stick to feeding feral cats and supporting groups who rescue dogs and other animals in need, thank you very much!
