How could I have known that face-book professors do not know the difference between a Statement of result and a certificate. How could we have known that face book academics can not differentiate between a statement of result and a certificate. A statement of result will refer to the exam written, even if it was written in 13 BC. You do not modernised or transform an exam in a statement of result. A statement of result normally bears the date of the day it is issued or say in the current time. Nothing more, nothing less. It simply transfers ones individual subject scores from a master sheet unto a result sheet ( format depending on the school). There is no standardised format for all the schools in Nigeria. A statement of result will bear the name of the current school, if a school has changed name, while the original school name is retained in the master result sheet. I learnt that those going to get their NPC birth certificate, are asked to produce a passport. I also know the passport is not the passport taken on your day of birth but a current passport to identify you. That is what happened yesterday. There may be issues going by our disregard for computing and book keeping, but the classmates have spoken. It is evident he is over qualified having served in different capacities for more than 10 years, can understand, speak and read English as the law demands. Has attended course( nit passed courses) for more than 1 year as the law demands and many more. Even those who wrote WAEC/NECO in Miracle centres, with their mum and dads waiting in the car with their private police, are part of these face book professors. Next issue, please
