How did we get to this level??? As I was listening with rapt attention to the Urbi et Orbi I.e the traditional Papal Easter message and Blessing, I heard the pope mentioning countries that he is praying for the risen Jesus to intervene in their crisis, he said, Syria, Iraq, Israel and Palestine, Central African republic and Nigeria(he said some parts). Then the reality of the league that our dear country is now playing was dawn on me. I remember that all we ever asked for is to be amongst the first 20 economies in the world by 2020, a humble and realisable ambition considering our potentials. How come we are now making terrorism/crisis first 6 that even the almighty Somalia is missing in. Can we ever reconcile both list? How did we ever got this messed up? Plss, the Risen Prince of Peace, Just as the Pope prayed, intervene in our country to reverse this evil trend. Happy Easter to all Lovers of peace and May U remain the sons/daughters of God.
