How did you all fare yesterday under the Mars/Pluto conjunction? I heard stories of headaches and confrontations. Its intense energy, but it can be channeled in positive ways. Ask those who have a Mars/Pluto aspect in their natal chart. Some are athletes while others use the energy to help others as healers and psychologists. If you look at Pluto as this planet of alchemy, the Mars conjunction is catalyst for something new. You still have an opportunity to proactively use this energy in your life. (Ideas on how to do that in yesterdays status update.) Next stop on an action packed week of astrological alignments is todays trine (120 degrees; harmonious) of Mercury and Neptune. Mercury recently entered Scorpio and is now past the point of where it was when it turned retrograde on October 4. In other words, were past the Mercury shadow yet Mercury will delve deep into the sign of shadows and the underworld, reminding us that Mercury was one of the few gods that could travel back and forth between Hades. (In Greek, he was what was known as a psychopomp, a guide of souls.) Since Mercury in Scorpio has a direct dial to the other side and Neptune in Pisces opens us to the realm of spirit, today will be a deeply psychic and intuitive day. You may receive insight from a place beyond this world or even have a profound realization about the darker places of your psyche. Further, the Moon is in Cancer today, the sign of emotional connections. After coming off the tension of the Uranus/Pluto square, next up will be Saturn in Scorpio, stressing the importance of trust, honesty, and vulnerability.
