How do I even begin to speak about my Brother Troyy Wyche on the morning of his 50th Birthday? How do I speak about all he means to me, to our Family, to our children as an Uncle...how in all the years of my life he has been so many things all at once; a Big Brother whose talents and accomplishments inspired me, a role model whose example of courage and fearlessness pushed me to challenge myself even when I was afraid; a protector who has always stood up for me and for all he loves--no one ever touched a hair on my head because they knew better! A pleader of my causes--intervening when necessary to push our Mom to relax the protective reigns a bit so that I could live and experience the world; a confidante, a friend, a shoulder to cry on...a steadfast and sure source of unconditional love, and a swift kick in the a$@ and voice of reason when my head is clouded---and yet this is not even the half. All I can say is Troy, I LOVE YOU LARGER THAN LIFE, and will walk to the ends of this earth for you. Today is your day to celebrate and to be celebrated, to rest from the hard work, to enjoy all youve done and all you will do, to fuel up for the journey that continues ahead. I cannot be there today, but will see you after Christmas. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
