How do I know about Nancy Lamott? Another most fortuitous internet discovery which goes in my Burping Canary Feathers blog, which has nothing to do with burping, canaries or their feathers. Why call it that? Why not. OK, so most people do not fart around on the internet all day. It was, in fact, under a photo of Kurt Vonnegut, who said the purpose of life is to fart around, that I discovered the quote from Anne Lamotts Bird by bird.
