How do we expect the average Nigerian soldier to risk his/her life - TopicsExpress

How do we expect the average Nigerian soldier to risk his/her life fighting deadly insurgents, when the only provisions made by the FGN for the upkeep of their dependents if anything happens to them is a paltry USD300 (N48,000). This is a country that has just budgeted over N3.75billion on frivolities to provide owambe comfort for some lazy dimwits, who we are so unfortunate to have as our rulers. The over N1.5billion budgeted to buy a new jet for the Presidential fleet that already has 10 aircrafts, the over N1.5billion budgeted to upgrade facilities in Aso Rock that is almost like paradise and the N750million budgeted for statehouse clinic can be conveniently channeled into a social security/demise fund that can attract over 1000% counterpart funding from other developed economies. If such funds to carter for the welfare of the dependents of our deceased heroes in the armed forces are transparently put in place under a Private Public Partnership (PPP) framework, it will go a long way to motivate the living ones to do more for their country. Most donor agencies/other international social security/welfare focused funds also will overwhelmingly support it knowingly fully well the role of the Nigerian Armed forces in the stability of Sub-Saharan Africa. But unfortunately we are saddled with people who are only interested in stealing and looting enough to guarantee them and their descendants enough space in the hottest part of hell fire. This is the much reason why some of us who clearly understand how these things work in other climes and how we can through the instrumentality of robust legislation establish far reaching PPP and Donor inclusive schemes that will impact the living standards of the average Nigerian in all spheres of life are asking Ndi Okigwe Zone to Send NNAEMEKA ONYEKA OBIARAERI to the SENATE OF THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF NIGERIA in 2015 to be at the vanguard of this change process. It is no sky rocket science. We have done it before and clearly understand what we can do to galvanize the CHANGE WE ALL TRULY DESIRE IN NIGERIA. THE POLICE FOUNDATION TRUST FUND THAT IS TODAY EQUIPPING THE POLICE AND MAKING LIFE EASIER FOR THEM WAS STRUCTURED BY SOME PEOPLE. THE SAME PEOPLE ARE ALREADY DESIGNING SOMETHINGS FOR THE NAVY AND WILL EXTEND IT TO THE OTHER ARMED FORCES IN NIGERIA. THE SAME GROUP IS DESIGNING SCHEMES THAT WILL BUILD OVER 100,000 HOUSING UNITS FOR MEMBERS OF THE NIGERIA POLICE FORCE IN THE NEXT 7 YEARS. THE DRAFT AGREEMENTS AND ENABLING LEGISLATIVE FRAMEWORK WAS DESIGNED BY THE SAME GROUP WORKING WITH A CRACK TEAM SOME OF THE BEST CORPORATE ATTORNEYS IN NIGERIA. IN THE BEST INTEREST OF OKIGWE ZONE, IMO STATE, NIGERIA, WEST AFRICA, AFRICA AND UWA NILE, OKAKWARA UNU NMA IDUGA NNAEMEKA ONYEKA OBIARAERI KA OGARA NDI OKIGWE ZONE OZI A NA SENATE. AKA CHUKWU DI YA
