How do we know that Peter was the one chosen by Satan to propagate the deception: “Simon, Simon, Satan has asked to sift all of you as wheat. But I have prayed for you, Simon, that your faith may not fail. And when you have turned back, strengthen your brothers.” But he replied, “Lord, I am ready to go with you to prison and to death.” Luke 22:31-33 NIV In another version: And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren. And he said unto him, Lord, I am ready to go with thee, both into prison, and to death. Luke 22:31-33 KJV Jesus himself says that Satan has asked for Simon (or Peter) to sift him as wheat, it only shows that Peter was indeed used by Satan to propagate his false teachings that Jesus was “the Christ” or had fulfilled his mission as the “Christ”. The temples that Jesus was referring to, which will be destroyed are none other than the churches of “Christianity” and other religions that give preference or high regard for him.
