How do you get back your innocence? Well many think that if you have to get it back then somehow it is currently lost. So you go out looking for it. The fact that you think you’ve lost your innocence is proof that you recognize that you had it. Reality - It’s not lost - you still have it, finding it is simply a matter of removing all the overlays you have covered it over with. So you haven’t lost it as if it is gone – it only seems that way because you can’t see it. An example - and we have all done something like this. You place your car keys in your room; you are not one for tidiness or order. You don’t use your car often and after a few days or weeks you need to use your car. You panic because you need to leave very soon. You get frantic as time seems to now go 10 times faster than usual. If you don’t find those keys, and now you’re going to miss a very necessary appointment. You declare that you have lost your keys, even think they may not be in your room. You desperately call out to family members, “Have you seen my keys, help me look for them”? By now you are near hysterical. Time is now going 100 even 1,000 times faster. You keep tossing your room in a haphazard way in the hope you will “luckily” uncover them. Others that come to assist do so the same way you are currently doing it, haphazardly and now 2, 3 or even 4 people are tossing the room or checking where you have already looked. In an orderly fashion they remove anything and everything from one area to expose all that is underneath. In a couple of moments someone says “Found them”. You are relieved, time goes back to normal, and you are no longer operating through panic or hysteria. You see the keys weren’t lost – lost means can never be found. You had simply covered them over. Your innocence is not lost, just covered over and to reclaim it, to see it all you had to do was remove the overlay. Now are you going to go into panic mode tossing everything about or be orderly and work through the mess until it is clear that it was not lost just hidden? Do yourself a favour, keep your room tidy and be vigilant of where your precious items are maintained.
